A few more bad Buyback autographs

While checking out the bay I came across a few more bad buyback autographs to look out for.
Pujols fake buyback
Arod fake buyback
Arod fake buyback
Griffey fake buyback
Also note his question he was asked, and his answer:
Q: Do you have the COA card with the matching hologram number on it that comes with this card? If you do could you please post a scan.
A: NOPE, CAME THIS WAY!!!
Both the Jeter and Griffey 20th Anniversary buyback autographs came with a COA card IN THE PACK as the autograph, which had a matching hologram on it.
I still can't believe people bid on these flat out fakes... it amazes me.
Heres some real Griffey 20th Anniversary buybacks

Here is a REAL Bowman Originals buyback card, complete with a NON FORGED autograph and the original case they came in with seal on top, 2006 Bowman Originals label on back, and Certified Autograph Issue label.

the sad part is some young kid has it displayed on his mantle and doesn't even know:
It's a Fugazzi!
Topps White Out (silver) letters Alex Gordon
80 Topps Greg Pryor “No Name"
90 ProSet Dexter Manley error
90 Topps Jeff King Yellow back
1958 Topps Pancho Herrera (no“a”)
81 Topps Art Howe (black smear above hat)
91 D A. Hawkins BC-12 “Pitcher”
This is the 2nd on your list - Arod fake buyback - this one just may be a mislabel as apposed to a scam - don't think this is even a 'buyback' card at all - I did the BHeritage set back around 2004 and that's how the sigs/with holograms look - and ARod's sig is all over the place compared to some IMO.
This is interesting.

edit: same for the rest below - I just don't think they know what they have? Cards look good to me.

The Arod signature is a fake. The same person who signed that also signed a other fake buyback autographs. Along with all the other fakes shown, they are all fake signatures also. I still don't know why the buyers still buy these when the originals came in a holder, seal, etc. I know some people who sell fake buybacks will take a common buyback autograph and switch it with a star. This problem is widely known with modern collectors, and has been around for a while now. Im sure most of the sellers know what there dealing with. Others may not due to buying it from another collector, or trading for it. The biggest question that was over on the Beckett boards a few months back was why did you take the card out of the holder? A kid claimed to have pulled it from a pack, and took it out of its holder. The card had a blatent forgery on it, and he got ripped by the regulars there.

I think fake Griffey buyback but unsure
Another thing is, are the Topps authentication stickers leaking out? If so, that is a HUGE problem!!! The cards that have authentication on the backs are legit, and the only stupid thing about them is that they are hand numbered by a worker of the company, and even more stupid, they use a different color from the players signature. But for the ones that don't have authentication on the backs and only have a hologram sticker, that can be a problem if Topps "authentication" stickers are leaking some how....
A huge problem that I have seen over and over again, and hope the companies will take simple measures to make sure it dosen't happen, or at least make it easy to spot compared to the fakes, because many people are beeing fooled with these fakes
People are also doing this with football as well, but there taking the auto sticker and removing the autograph, and taking the authentication sticker off, and placing it on a Bowman Chrome card thus making it an autograph card.
just because topps did a poor job on them. It also doesn't help that print runs are sometimes hard to know. Originals was a bad product, Arod and
Pujols autos were few and far between, for all I know they might be all fake!
Heritage and Ginter are fool proof, they were signed on card and the actual card has autograph on it. If you are buying buy backs you are wasting your money.

<< <i>You still can't go wrong having autograph cards in your collection that acutally have the word autograph on them. I would never own a buy back

Yep, even the Beckett c-list is inaccurate.
