Has Anyone Ever Purchased A Redemption Card?

Has anyone ever purchased a redemption card off of eBay (or anywhere else) and then attempted to redeem the card? I see them on eBay all the time.
I never have and don't think I will. (I'd rather let someone else go through the trouble of redeeming the card.)
If you have, did everything go smoothly, e.g., did you receive the card you expected? Thanks.

Not too shabby!
NEVER AGAIN ....
I purchased a total of 9 UD redemptions for Reggie Leach. Not one of them came back.
I'm not completely unhappy with the replacement cards they sent though... Anyone looking for a Dickey Moore?
I agree with anyone who says "NEVER AGAIN".
Picked up 2004 Fleer Greats of the Game Gary Carter Auto redemption card for $5.00 --- sent it in --- stated that it would take 6 or 8 weeks --- well within those 6 or 8 weeks Fleer goes ka-put and I am out of luck ---- months go by and I get a letter saying that here are some replacement cards thanks for your patience.
Got 3 cards (1 auto of some nobody and 2 jersey cards will try to find them and post a scan)

I have purchased many redemption cards and have never had a problem, always got my cards, but sometimes waiting long, but it was worth the way. My one redemption probale came from Fleer, back in 2001, but Fleer is now UD so there should be no problem. I never received my card and they gave me crappy replacement, but like I said, it was Fleer from 2001, when it was the Fleer company, but now Fleer is Upper Deck.
Hope that helped!
