What are the top Soccer cards in the hobby? What are the hot cards out of the 2009 Upper Deck packs?

Hey, Marinaro was a great player in the old MISL for the Cleveland Force. (I do remember that Otto Orf was shelled in a game vs the Wichita Wings, though!)

As far as soccer cards I was high on David Beckham rookies for a while. Unfortunately the Beckham experiment does not appear as if it will pan out. Nonetheless, I sent in his 1996 Merlin Premier Gold rookie as part of the group submisission. Hope it grades a 9!

I have a wax box of 2009 Upper Deck MLS on my shelf; I think there are 2 or three jersey cards per box.

I love the 1971 Barratt Pele card. I have a PSA 9 and an SGC 96 that are beautiful and undervalued!

Soccer, especially the indoor type was really big in the Cleveland area back when the Force was still playing. I remember going to many games back in the late 80's out at the old Richfield Coliseum (which has since been torn down) to see them play. They used to pack that place, expecially when they played Baltimore. Ali Kazameni, Kai Haaskavi and a bunch more were awesome. also pardon my spelling of names but that is the best I can recall. And who can forget Tatu!!

Mia Hamm also has an XRC in the 1992 SI for Kids Series. I am happy to have an SGC 96 and maybe a PSA 8 of that one. Great card for sports fans who don't want to throw their fishin' line in that old mainstream...

I love the SI for Kids from the mid 90's. Have a bunch, but no Tiger. Was in a waiting room last week and found a recent issue with a Tim Tebow card. needless to say, I snagged it!!!!!

The only soccer cards I own are the UK Minis that have the Brazilian national team on it

Stars like Ronaldo, Ronaldhino and my favorite Kaka.....If you are named after human waste and are still popular..you HAVE to be a cool guy
