<< <i>nice Jon, where'd you get those? >>
It was in a group break. A guy bought a case and then opened them up on Youtube.
They can be had for about $63/tin. Each tin includes 2 base cards /575, 2 game used cards and an autographed sweet spot.
blowout and dave and adams have the best prices.
It's a fun rip if you don't get a Toby Harrah auto.
I got a Ripken auto last time
Kiss me twice.....let's party.
<< <i>That Gehrig JSY is INCREDIBLE. >>
I think they're modern fabrications, not actual jersey, but they're nice looking for sure.
I don't think the Yanks have ever had nameplates on their jerseys have they?
<< <i>i wouldnt touch that product, thats the year they used cheap synthetic leather for the sweet spots so they fade badly >>
On the REGULAR sweet spot that is true. I haven't seen may problems with the Classic. The Horton actually looks like gold ink.
And yes the Gehrig is a manufactured patch but there are only 15 of each letter produced for Lou's cards.
The redemtions for these cards are expiring this year so I probably won't be buying much more of this procuct.
