    I don't think that was something crazy... I mean it is an abandoned house..
    and it is basically garbage left by previous tenants. I wouldn't take their job for that..
    it's not like they made a drug raid and took kilo's of drugs to resell

    Their is one big difference, they were on duty. When the uniform is on you can't do that. When being paid, you must do the job.

    If they were off duty, it is different. They are not on company (time the public pays them to do their job).

    I was in law enforcement for a while, when the uniform is on you are held to a higher standard than that.

    I agree 100%. Regardless of why they did it or the value involved, it shows very poor judgement.

    Edit: Although, how many people here buy/sell and potentially profit on eBay from their work computers during work hours?
