Any vintage basketball people? How much would a Baylor 1961 Fleer cost....

in PSA 8 and Mint 9?

I already have a copy of it, but its definetly not an 8 haha, maybe a 5 at best. I bought it on ebay thinking it was about a 7 as the seller described it in the description and showed in photo, but oh well.

    I did check past sales on ebay and found a really nicely centered 8 that went for over 1400 bucks.

    I did pick up the #46 Baylor IA back in the 90s for 30 bucks - I got lucky - it came back a 9.

    Are you doing the set?

    Not going for the set, I didn't hit the lotto yet image haha Just trying to get the Baylor. Nice on the 9, do you have a scan of that card? Would you sell it?

    WOW, that $455 price looks yummy image I think i'll hold out for the PSA Mint 9(NOT! haha). I guess when the time is right, maybe a nicely centered 8 or a 9 if the price wouldn't be too crazy.

    Not a great scan but adequate and I'll apologize - no - not for sale - as a general rule - I collect and don't sell. Have traded but rarely also.

    How much does that card book in a PSA 9?

    I totaly understand and thank you for sharing the scan, really nice to see a mint 9 copy of that card.

    Honestly, if you're looking to get a deal, wait a while. Vintage basketball is REALLY up in value at the moment - even in low-mid grade. PSA 2 level HOF Rookies are going for WAY more than 2 years ago.

    Yeah, I have definetly seen an increase in vintage basketball and I wish I would have added some Baylor vintage high grades a long time ago, but lets see what happens in the future.

    That's right in line with SMR also Mike - I think that's pretty accurate - nice deal for a 30 buck card!
