This is one bad thing about our forum.

The seller made a simple typographical error and he gets jumped on for it.
He stated "set is guaranteed 10% authentic!" when obviously he meant 0%.

Everybody makes mistakes. Cut the poor guy some slack ...

There is wear on the back corners of the Woolridge card. I am wondering how this happens inside a sealed set.
I owned a few similar bagged team sets many years ago and that does not look like an original bag - it looks too rigid and the seal doesn't look right.

    Maybe that's why the 10%

Hey Lee, were you happy with that last STAR set you picked up?

I don't recall you ever filling us in on that. image

The bag is actually legit (I think), just a hilarious typo. The corner wear comes from the bag rubbing over the last 25 years. I have a raw set that I built completely out of bagged sets that I opened myself and many sets had similar wear on the top and bottom cards. The Jordan looks like it has some on the top left, and I'd be willing to bet there's more that you can't see on the scan. My Jordan actually some of the red rubbed off of a couple corners from moving around in the bag.

Yes, very happy. I got a legit Jordan with minor wear for $1200. That is the least I've ever seen a sealed Bulls bag go for, although I admittedly haven't followed all the auctions over the years.

Every time I change it I get 30 PMs asking me to change it back to the Karate Kid kid. I've come to the conclusion that there is no better icon on earth so I'm leaving it be.

Too bad that producer Will Smith didn't "leave it be."

Jackie Chan Confirmed for Karate Kid

Kung-fu legend begins filming on remake.

    by Scott Collura

July 13, 2009 - Confirming reports from earlier this year that he was in talks to join the production, Jackie Chan has come aboard the Karate Kid remake in the role originated by Pat Morita.

Variety reports that the kung-fu legend will play Mr. Miyagi opposite Jaden Smith, who takes on the Ralph Macchio role. Smith, of course, is the young son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

The film, titled Kung Fu Kid, will be a Hollywood-Chinese coproduction between Columbia Pictures and the state-run China Film Group. Filming began in the Chinese capital of Beijing over the weekend, with Harald Zwart (Agent Cody Banks, The Pink Panther 2) behind the camera. Unlike the original, which was set in the U.S., this film will take place in China.

Chan and Smith, along with Smith's parents and sister Willow, "attended a traditional Chinese ceremony to mark the start of the shoot Saturday." Ain't that cute? Even cuter -- Will Smith is one of the film's producers.

Oh, wait. That's not cute. It's obnoxious.

Storm, please don't get me started. This film will be one of the greatest tragedies of the 21st century.

First it was popular music, then country music, then television shows and its finally hitting full swing in the movies. Ideas are apparently running short in all forms of the entertainment industry and in the majority of cases, the remakes bear little resemblence to the original and have none of the "soul" the original intended.

    Sad indeed.

I believe there should be at least a 30-40 year waiting period for a remake.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the original.
