OT So, since when did baseball players start wearing slacks?

Ok, I know it all started with George Hendrick of the Cards with his tight pants down to his cleats and I guess I am just old school, but what is with players now with their pants all bagged out and bunched up on their cleats? Am I the only person that thinks that this looks retarded and you would think that it would be uncomfortable to play with your pants like this. Real ball players show their socks!! So what do you think, sox or slacks?

I miss John Stockton's shorts, too. Seriously, though, something needs to be done about CC Sabathia's uniform. It looks like a tent.
