Let this be a lesson to you when dealing with the "big shooters" on this board (Ron Burgun

their "sloppy seconds" ROCK:

The first batch of cards are the "worst" in a recent purchase from Mr. Burgundy.

The second batch (55's) are from another lot from 1954 (Shane).

Moral of the story: Find someone who collects in a higher grade than you, then buy the cards they submit that didn't "make their grade". Let's face it, Ron and Shane don't submit to get PSA 5's or 6's, so when they do, you know you're getting a card that they expected to grade higher.

I am pretty stoked over my transactions with each of these guys. And thanks to Shane, I no longer fear the PSA 8OC. The back on that thing is unbelievably clean. It almost looks fake.

Carry on.

Very cool... and as a new member here, thanks for sharing the kudos regarding other members!

From the scan alone, I still can't believe that Brooks Robinson got a 5!!! Nice grab!!!

I agree. I've bought quite a few raw cards from Ron that fit well into my mid-grade collection. I'd rather deal with guys like him than eBay any day.

Hi Eric, welcome to the boards.

The BRobby has a very slight touch to the upper right corner that doesn't show on the scan. Other than that, it is a wonderful card, one of the nicest ones I own for sure.
