Do you see a big differnce between these two cards? Graded scans added.

That's what I think, too.

But, if they were feeling wrongfully generous, it could be 9 and 10.

The one on the right looks to have a little more tilt but the colors seem more vivid...Maybe i am seeing things but that
what is looks like

I'm seeing 9 on the left and 8 on the right lol...but I know nothing about this issue. In my experience though, PSA loves when the little break-away tabs on cards like this are visable.

I'm not sure how PSA grades these but the one on the right appears to have a corner ding in the lower left .

Watch them both be 10's.

Sometimes these cards have surface scratches that you can't see unless you tilt the card a certain way. I learned the hard way with this set and still have a box of cards that look like 10s with grades ranging from 6-8. I have 2 complete sets in the registry.

Not familiar with the intricacies of the issue, but I would say 8 left, 5-6 on the right. Say that because it looks like a chunk is missing from the top right on the right. I could see extra pieces with the perferations being OK, but not missing chunks.

Oh no, 1981 Kelloggs!!!!

This set has caused unnecessary stress in my life the last year. I busted 8 of the cleanest factory sets I have ever seen just to sub the best of the best. The grades were all over the place. I even spoke to Joe on the phone about the inconsistency in the grades.

As far as the surface scratches are concerned, from his explanation a card that would normally be a PSA 10 but has one scratch would knock it down to a 6 at best. Same explanation for possible separation of the cardboard and 3-D surface. I subbed about 30 of them and half were 9's and only one was a 10. Have no idea how they differentiate between a 9 and 10.

To answer the question, I wouldn't even guess at the grades from a scan.

Clearly your wrong

I submitted the one that graded a 7 and bought the 9. I cannot see much of a difference between the two. There are no chunks missing on the cards, not sure why the scan makes it look this way. Also curious to why some of the guys thought the card on the left was a 7.
