Anyone care to help with Ebay's recent changes?

I usually use ebay to sell records from my collection, but haven't sold on there in awhile due to the new fee structure, etc. I am considering going back to test the waters, but I haven't read too much on the positive side here lately. What do I need to know about how ebay now handles paypal in terms of holding your money, shipping with delivery confirmation, etc etc. Any information is helpful.

Edited To Add: Unless there has been some changes in the past week or so, the eBay PayPal USPS scheme has produced scam buyers now in addition to the scam sellers on ebay

Edited to note that you cannot lose what you never had.
Maybe I'm an exception but the way eBay is integrated works great for me.
List a store item -- wait for a buyer -- accept electronic funds -- and ship via USPS with a few mouse clicks.
My only issue is that the process skims 10% - 15% of the gross.

No but with both online paypal shipping and online shipping through usps delivery confirmation (electronic) is free.

As I know paypal only holds money until feedback is recieved for new sellers or those with very low feedback.
I think what I was referring to is the sea of chargebacks and SNAD claims that are growing due to the ebay/paypal end of it. I am sure the USPS connection is what you say it is and is not only convenient, but time saving as well.
An example is that I used to charge a flat $1 shipping fee for my cards when I was selling on ebay, since the actual postage was only 57 cents. This included good protection and shipment in a bubble mailer, but the key was I did not send it DC and I did this on most items even up to $50 before I had the insurance kick in, but still only charged $2.25 with insurance. Then when all the chargeback and SNAD and other buyer stuff started, I had to start sending things with DC, even the stuff I didnt insure which raised the shipping to $2.13 without insurance. IN my first 1000 transactions on ebay, I never had any "lost mail" or items that did not arrive, but once the ebay/paypal folks went overboard with the chargebacks, I had 3 claims in my last 100 sales on ebay. I am sure all 3 of those claims were bogus, but since they were low dollar items, I didnt really care, but that whole period was when I stopped selling on ebay.
I guess in the end, my complaint is not on the convenience, but on how ebay/paypal has/continues to ruin what once was a really great idea.

On EBAY, PayPal is a very dangerous creature to deal with.
If your buyers are honest, you will have no problems.
If your buyers are crooks, PayPal and EBAY will assist
those crooks in stealing from you.
