Need some help from modern Basketball collectors..scans inside

Hi,

I got a few packs from the 2008-09 UD SP Rookie Threads that I ripped open tonight.

I pulled these cards and was wondering if anyone could tell me something about the Derrick Rose Redemption Card. I looked on ebay but wasnt sure. I saw I was getting a dual Auto/Jersey Card numbered to 399.
What does the CD #95 mean? Is that the number I am getting? i.e. 95/399?

I did just goto Upper Deck and redeem the card.

Also, I couldnt find any info on the Erving card, I love Dr. J. so Its not for sale I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of value.
I did find the Lebron James card on ebay.

As always thanks for your help in advance.

I believe the CD #95 just means that it is card number 95 in the set.

Nice pulls. Not sure of the book value or eBay value of the Dr J card, but it's probably not alot. Modern jersey cards don't usually sell for much and dual player cards don't seem to do well...or at least that's my experience with them.

  • I don't think you could have done any better if you wanted to.You got the 2 top rookies,a nice Lebron and a player you really like(Dr. J).Nice pulls.

Felicia, what are you doing opening modern basketball? It's cool, I'm just surprised! The Rose looks like it'll be a good one. Interesting that they had Mayo sign OVER the patch. I think both of those guys will play 15 years in the league so hang onto them.

Wow, if that's the results of just 4 packs, then you did exceptional! Now I've got the itch to buy and rip something today.

While the playing 15 years part might be true, I don't believe in sitting on much if any modern product. These guys will have plenty of auto's available over the years.

I believe that it is a sticker auto and the clear sticker is placed over the patch.

lsu is right. While that's aesthetically awful IMO, it will prevent the scumbag patch fakers from replacing the jersey swatch with something fancy they took off a store-bought jersey.
