OT: Paypal/Shipping question

OK, so I sold a slab to someone on this board, he paid with paypal. I printed out the shipping label for USPS 1st class with DC.

I recall someone telling me about some sort of scan form that is needed for the PO to actually scan an item as dropped off. Couldn't find anything like that.

So, I took it to the PO and they didn't scan the package.

What do I need to do to get it scanned or where is this scan form?

If you hand it to the clerk, they will scan it. If they refuse,
ask for the station manager; he has gotten memos on it.

Most large stations have a bin on the end counter where
you can drop the item and a clerk will scan it later.

No scan at delivery, no PayPal protection.

When you're using the Paypal shipping, there's a box you can check that say's print SCAN form. It'll be a summary sheet of all your packages and when you get to the PO, they just scan the one barcode and it checks in all of your packages at once. I've used it when shipping multiple packages at once. I don't know about all PO's but I drop my packages off at the counter and they do an "acceptance scan".

Here's the actual link that explains it better:
