Down To One Card In My Roberto Clemente Set Registry

I thought I would share my latest pick up (1957 Clemente PSA 7) with all of you. I started my Roberto Clemente Basic set project in late September of 08. I'm down to one card and it's a 1958 Clemente. This is my first registry set that I started.

You can't go wrong with Clemente cards, best of luck on the last piece to the puzzle.
  • Nice collection! I'm working on the Clemente basic set as well, and I'm about halfway there.

I was the underbidder tonight on a very nice-looking PSA 7 '58. Hopefully I didn't cost you money!

What did that card close at? It was at $211 with 15 minutes to go.
  • $280.

It shot up to $211 in like the first four hours after the auction was posted, then stayed there the whole week until the last couple seconds.

I agree with Fattymacs that "You can't go wrong with Clemente cards"!

    Nice pickup Bob!

I have to say - I've got very little in the Clemente area - good luck in picking up the 58T.

I picked up the Clemente for my 63F set - it wasn't centered great but the price was right - would like to upgrade the centering some day.

    Thanx for sharing

You did not, I was watching that card but did not bid. That was a very pretty 58.

Walter do you need a 73 Clemente? I just sent that in with the groub sub. If you're interested LMK.

Guys thanks for the kind words. It's been fun doing this.
