I'm thinking of getting this coin. Anyone have any thoughts on its authenticity?

Hard to tell from a poor 2D image, but at a glance it looks OK to me. It's not coming from China, so that's a positive.

Hard to tell from the image, for my opinion it may be CF? The toning and the grey scale are too even and new, also look at DEL the "D" ?

Buy this one, and remove all doubt..................well, most of it anyway.
Or, save yourself some money since your wife can't tell anyway.

I think it is likely okay, however, there may be another set of issues to deal with here

The toning looks like old original toning and the highlights are consistent with a genuinely circulated coin.
Always hard to say from an eBay image, but I think it's legit.

I like it. Expect it to go for a lot more than the current bid ($113.61) though. I thnk the snipers will be ready for this one. Bob

I kind of forgot about it. Anyway, I wouldn't have bid over $300 for it. The rim bumps were turning me off at that level.

The image was very problematic for the coin... it could have been a nice original or something that had been worked to death
