Gorgeous coin! and since you brought it up, it should be noted that France's version "The Sower" predated our "Walker" by 19 years (and i was looking for any excuse to bump this thread as Will is an excellent seller)

I'm not too familiar with French tokens of the period. Sorta like Conders from the opposite side of the Channel, huh? They're every bit as handsome as a lot of the Conder tokens are, that's for sure.
