Is this a fake Adrian Peterson Patch?

A few red flags on this one.
1 - A pretty high end card that would make it worth it to put a fake in.
2 - Graded by GAI.
3 - Graded 8 - possibly because of damage around the patch
4 - That patch is amazing. Much more likely to be put in the gold /25 version.

I'd lean towards fake, but I'm looking for other opinions.

<< <i>Fake patches seem like probably the dumbest thing in this hobby these days. What the heck are people doing with the real patches? Ae they making custom cards on their own? What's the point of removing a half inch by half inch piece of Someone's jersey? >>
They probably just throw away the real patches. They aren't replaced because sellers think the real patches may be valuable elsewhere, but because if they put in a fake patch, the card might sell for a lot more.
For example, a card may sell for $100 with a plain white swatch, but if taken out and replaced by a multicolored patch with part of a team's logo on it, it is much more likely to sell for $300+.
See the example from a page on the link Donovan posted. Link
Seller is questionable, why go any further than that?
