Does Topps insure redemption fulfillments when they ship?

This is my dumb question of the day. Does Topps insure the redemption fulfillments that they send? And if so, do they use one amount for all packages or does it depend on the card?

  • Do they even ship the cards? I have 2 I am waiting on. One of them was mailed in August.

I don't know about insure but the "processing" time after something says that it shipped leavs a lot to be desired.

I received something yesterday that was Process for Shipping on April 21

That sucks. I sent off a 2007 Topps Cosigners Brendan Ryan/Chris Duncan dual auto redemption a little over a year ago and I have no idea when/if I will ever receive it. And since I had to mail it (they didn't have the online redemption available at that time) I have no way to check. image

I received a redemption last week from Topps that was sent certified mail. Not sure if certified mail is insured by default to a certain level or not though.

The reason I ask is that I have a friend that just received word that a package had been delivered from Topps that contains one of the sketch cards from Series 1 and it was insured for $1,000. I was just curious as to whether they use a standard insured rate or whether he got a really good sketch card.

Well, I got home tonight and there's a notice in my mailbox for something from tristar sent certified. Could be my sketch card but I won't find out till tomorrow morning when I go to the PO

edit - yup that's what it is, the tracking # matches what's been on Topps site for the past month or so.

  • I checked Topps website and mine does not show that I have any redemptions pending or processing. Where the heck are the 2 I mailed?

Same problem same set so I am guessing they have not been sent yet. Sad part is I dont even remember the players on the card. The Rockies maybe???

Edit to say mine was 2008 Cosigners.
  • i think they suck, you do well to get your redemption card that you pulled, i always get switched with some guy that ends up pushing carts at walmart instead of playing ball
they need to do away will the whole stupid idea,
If they cant put thev card in the pack, forget itimage

The website is only for the one's with the code on the back that you enter online. The one's you mail, you will have to email and ask about them

Back in March they email me that 3 of my cards were shipped!
Then 6 weeks later the cards came in.. I am still holding out hope for the rest but who knows with them!

There is a trick to topps. You have to email them and inquire about your cards, this will get you moved up the batting order. IF they have the card they
will send it to you in about a week, if they don't have it they may send you a replacment if it has been 8+ months. Expect to get screwed on all
    replacments.

If they insured a sketch card for $1,000, I hope it was painted with gold or something; otherwise, those sketch cards are silly and worthless.
