75 Topps Help

I am thinking about building a RAW 75 Topps in NM-NM/MT condition. I already have the Brett in PSA 9, Rice and Carter in PSA 8.5 and have all intentions of adding the Yount in PSA 9. A couple questions, How difficult is it to find RAW cards for this set in NM-NM/MT condition, and what kind of prices can I expect to pay? Ive thought about trying to add all the key cards in PSA 8+ grade and just have the commons in RAW form, but my budget is of concern as well, as I have a couple other projects going on right now, that's taking away from some of my discretionary income. Anyone thats built this set, I would love to hear from you as to suggestions on the best way to go about building this set. As always, thanks in advance.

Estil, I dont want to buy one, I definately want to build it. I will appreciate it so much more if I build it myself. What do you consider the top 30 cards in the set?
1975 Topps are not that difficult to find in NM/MT condition.
Buy up some lots that you see on ebay, maybe hit a few web sites and some shows.
I built my set from 2 vending boxes back in 75.

Steve,
I worry about guys trimming their cards on EBAY. I will be looking to knock this off at shows, etc.
What can I expect to pay for RAW commons in NM--NM/MT condition?
What about HOFer's?
I bought 4 complete sets, busted about 5 racks and bought a nice Jim Rice because I wasn't happy with any of the 4 from sets. I culled the best from each set and sold them for darn near what I paid each time, keeping the best of each set. I am into my set for about $1,100, but I've probably bought and sold another grand or $1,500. Pretty much even-steven (with free upgrades). The racks give you that set building feel (along with some grading).
I've got a nice set (the fourth one I bought) going up on ebay when we get the cards back from the recent group sub (Ryan was an 8, rest were 7's I think) - LMK if you are going to go this route and/or have interest. You could use it as a base and upgrade however you choose.
Buying commons onesie-twosie just isn't worth it on mid-70's sets IMHO.

I also said check web sites too.

<< <i>Matt you have zero chance of getting a Yount PSA 9 unless Dmitri stopped buying all of them. >>
The bottom has fallen out of that card. They are back down to $350-$400 for a PSA 9. Thank Memory Lane for (This is just speculation on my part) flooding the market with all of Dmitri Young's PSA 9's that he couldnt get bumped to a PSA 10.
I will own that card sooner than later.

All the more reason to buy the key cards in graded form. Here's how I do it:
pre-1972: Get ALL HOFers and checklists in PSA 7 This is especially important for 1971.
1973-1977: Get any cards that book for $8 or more in Beckett Almanac in PSA 7
1978-1979: Get any cards that book for $8 or more in Beckett Amanac in PSA 8
