My new project

I am starting a new project and I am determined to build the crappiest conditioned 1961 Topps baseball set. Why? Because I dont have tons of money to buy top conditioned cards for a nice registry set. The 61 design is one of my all time favorites, and I have a few autographed, so why not try to build the set (unsigned and signed) If anyone has any and can help me out, just send me a PM. Thanks!

    You can buy large raw lots that are in offgrade, but not crappy, condition cheaply. Try not to drop below the G-VG level unless you're paying less than a dime a card.

    That's how I'm building my '56T baseball set and I can pick up lots of cards in the VG to ExMt range for basically $1 to $1.50 a card for the commons and some minor stars. It's fun!

    Seriously, great idea. I think I will try with the 61 set also but not for another year when finances are better.
