What players and teams do you collect?

As many of you already know. My wife and I are expecting our first baby in the next few weeks. I have been instructed by the boss that I need to organize and store my “mess” as she calls it. Instead of just putting everything in a box and not looking at it again for a very long time. I figured that there are a lot of collectors out there that focus their hobby on a couple players.

If anyone is interested please list your ID/name and the players you collect and I will do my best to get you those cards from the rips I pull. The majorty of them will be from the late 70's, 80's, 90's, and some super modern. So, basically list your name and the player and PM me your address and I will send you some cards out over the next few weeks. I am not looking for anything in return.

I collect Altanta Braves ......especially Chipper Jones . I have a 9 year old son that likes to collect. Ialso have a 6 year old daughter who
has been watching the NBA playoffs with me.

I tend to collect Frank Thomas and as a side project Tim Lincecum. You may or may not have already known this about me.

I have a 5000ct box organized by popular players for player collectors. I grab a few cards from it from time to time to send out to other collectors (all baseball). So if you list any players you collect, I'm sure I have some around. Though I'm pretty low on Cal Ripken as of late.

I'm into modern issue Cardinals at the moment, especially Adam Wainwright, Yadier Molina, and Pujols. Basically any Cardinals cards from 2000 to present. Thanks!

Congrats on the baby! I too have lost my baseball card room when we had our first child. We have since moved and had a second. They are 11 and 8 years old now. They joy of children far outweigh they joys of collecting! Hopefully over the summer, we will turn the playroom into a bedroom for my son (current bedroom downstairs) and I will have my card room back.

If you have any Phillies I will gladly take them.

I also collect Andy Van Slyke and Bert Blyleven for baseball. If you do any hockey I collect Ryan Miller, David Backes, Ryan Carter and Steve Wagner.

Wow, I could have written this myself. I collect Braves (big fan) and Cansecos (just bought a bunch of 86 Star Co. regular and sticker sets). And my collection has no focus at all. And I'm in Chicago and expecting my first child soon. Jeesh...

I remember you speaking about the pregnancy on another thread. WOW! A dad in THREE WEEKS! It will be the most wonderful, amazing, emotional, etc... day of your life. First off -- Best wishes with your new child.

My wife and I have 5 sons spread over quite a few years . Our oldest was born in 1986 . Our youngest was born in 2004 . What I did was begin collecting sets from 20 years before they were born. Our youngest son has the 1984 Topps baseball set . Our oldest has a set from 1966 . For them , its 1966 , 1968 , 1970 , 1983 and 1984 . I've had a nice Nate Colbert and Randy Jones in the past . I collect Steve Rogers now for myself and a few other "silly" sets.
