1953 Topps (MK) or production?

I was going through my '53 Topps cards and noticed a select few that had what looked to be red strands on the surface about a 1/16 of an inch, I couldn't tell if this was part of the paper stock or more of a print ink issue.
Anyone experience or notice this in the '53 cards?
Even my PSA graded Mays has it but PSA did not issue a MK qualifier.
It's quite noticable, so i'm curious if it was a printing issue.

I don't see it on the Mays you picture either.
Steve
on it.
What I mean is the back of a sheet (which is red) left some ink residue on the front of another sheet.
Nothing to sweat bullets over.
Steve
Thanks again for the opinions, I can work go back to work without worrying now.

Nice Mays. I know, I said that before about your card. It's still nice, lol.

Thats so small.................. its got to be stray ink from the printing process or from rubbing against other cards after printing (packs and storage)
Is it the small lines in the background to the left of Mays?
Nice card BTW....... No way it would get a MK
