Loupe?

I need to get a loupe. What magnification should I get. I hate to admit my eyes aren't as good as they used to be!

I picked this one up at the suggestion of I think Craig and like it a lot:

    10x loupe

I will upgrade one day to a stand alone model. It would be nice to not have to hold it on my eye while inspecting cards. You may be able to find it for much cheaper though if you go with the one I linked above. I think it was under $4 delivered from overseas when I got it.

When I got laid off on Christmas Eve, yes really, I kept my work one. I worked for a CD replicator so mine magnifies enough to see the tiny dots....not that anyone really cares :-)

    I use a 10x and a 30x.

I had this one for 6 years and passed it down to Craig.
It fits over the entire card.

Carrot juice = no loupe needed

I probably need to get a loupe myself before a send in my next sub.

CNote: Did they give an advanced notice on your layoff or was it a surprise. Trust me it could've been worse. I found out my wife had cancer 10 years ago on Christmas Eve. Kinda hard to get enthused about Christmas after that. I'm going to be laid off the last day of September. I'm planning on getting retrained because I think it's time for a different career. Oh, my wifes ok.

Nope, got a call and was told I was done. So, between that, and both of my parents passing away early in January (different years though), it makes the holiday months that much more....lame
