Paypal Shipping Question

I just vaulted into the 21st century and began experimenting with the Paypal Shipping option, but I'm still trying to work out some kinks. I'm using the labels that have two labels per sheet, and when I print the shipping I get a bunch of information on the second label re: the del. conf. number, directions for adhering the label to the shipping package, etc. etc. Is there any way to change my settings so that the second label on the sheet isn't wasted like this?

yes their is, I am not sure how, I remember reading it here though. I think you highlight what you want
to print though. I'm sure someone will be around shortly. I think Gumby had a thread about this.

  • I see what you're saying. It's a pain to have a receipt print on the bottom of the label because ultimately you'd love to get two shipping labels per sheet, am I right? If only they sold paper that was half label half paper.

Boo, try going to Paypal Multi-order Shipping, Settings, Printer Settings, select Standard Printer (Plain Paper), and then make sure "Print Label Information and Instructions" is NOT checked. I think that is what did it for me, but I am not 100% positive.

    Hi Boo,

Instructions for disabling the printing of the receipt in Paypal:

    1. Log in to Paypal
    2. Under the MY ACCOUNT tab, click on PROFILE.
    3. Under the SELLING PREFERENCES column, click on SHIPPING PREFERENCES.
    4. Under U.S. POSTAL SERVICE PREFERENCES click on EDIT PRINTER SETTINGS.
    5. Under LASER/INKJET PRINTER, uncheck box marked PRINT RECEIPT.
    6. Click on SAVE.

Now every time a label is printed, it will only take up one label allowing postage to be printed on the remaining label.

No need to print a receipt since all your history is in your account anyway.
