  Depending on your location, feeder calves in the 300-400 pound range will run in the neighborhood of $1.25 a pound. A lot of local variance and not all cattle of the same weight have the same value. Put 'em on that nice grass in the photo and in a year or so you will have a lot of nice beef on the hoof!

  Looks like the calves will have a good place to live.
  I used to raise feeder cattle. Polled Herefords.

  it's been raining everyday...
  grass is growing..
  it's not like i'm worried but,
  i'm going to throw in a genuine
  dale hollow lake t-shirt.
  you can't pick these up just anywhere..
  (unless you have internet)
  i live here and can get the real deal
  just imagine, being the only kid on your block with one...
  you would rock!!!
  plus, you will be fighting global warming by keeping my diesel tractor parked!!!
