    Depending on your location, feeder calves in the 300-400 pound range will run in the neighborhood of $1.25 a pound. A lot of local variance and not all cattle of the same weight have the same value. Put 'em on that nice grass in the photo and in a year or so you will have a lot of nice beef on the hoof!

    Looks like the calves will have a good place to live.
    I used to raise feeder cattle. Polled Herefords.
