What will a 1975 Ryan be worth if 20 pop up?
  • Good question. There are only 21 Ryan 9's now so who knows how many will come from that many unopened packs. It's hard to get your mind around the number of cards from one set that will be flooding the market at once. All I know is, all the lesser condition mini's I have may as well be used to line the bird cage. Imagine all the 8's alone when this is over.

I don't think psa 10's will be affected that much psa 9's will be affected, but if enough high grade minis hit the market then psa 8's and lower will really drop in price.

Did I miss something? Was there just a flood of the market on PSA 9 mini 75's?

WOW, I guess I missed something. Did they sell as one lot, or as individual cases? What was the hammer price on the deal?

  • Cases were broken up into different lots. There were even a few auctions for separate unopened boxes and wax packs. I was going to bid on one random lot that had a few boxes and packs included along with some 1977 cellos, 1978 wax box and 1981 cello boxes. REA's estimated final price was $2500+. It was at $6000 after the first 2 days. I was also advised that Steve Hart was not going to let that one go cheap. Expect to see a lot of new inventory on BBCE's website in the next month.
  • Wow, $6000 doesn't seem like a few boxes and packs. Hopefully Steve has competitive prices on his 75's.

Pretty impressive, I saw the thread below this regarding the REA auction. We need to think about putting together a group rip with Steve involving some 74-79 wax.

This was the auction I was referring to. It's in the extended bid period and current price is $12,000.
  • If any of you are sitting on mini's in 8 or 9 and feel the market will tank, send me your set list. I'm at 50% completed and looking to move up the set list.
