This is Speedy Willie, and I'm world class.
I like runnin' but i love to get the pass.
I practice all day and dance all night,
I got to get ready for the Sunday fight.
Now I'm as smooth as a chocolate swirl,
I dance a little funky, so watch me girl.
There's not one here that does it like me,
My Super Bowl Shuffle will set you free.
  • I haven't wondered what he's doing, but I have wondered why youre not suspended for such a racist signature line. What's wrong with you ?

Glad you see the humor in it.

It was once said that an African-American would become president "when pigs fly." Well, 100 days into the Obama presidency... Swine Flu!

I'm no world class athlete but I've been running consistently for over 25 years and it seems to keep me young and svelt.

The two main key factors with staying in shape long term is to stay active(year round) and watch what you eat.

"Is it true that you smoke eight to ten cigars a day?"
    "That's true."

"Is it true that you drink five martinis a day?"
    "That's true."

"Is it true that you still surround yourself with beautiful young women?"
    "That's true."

"What does your doctor say about all of this?"
    "My doctor is dead."

There is merit to that notion.

MUCH, though, seems to have to do with genetics.

Some modern studies suggest that eating very little
is good for longevity. I eat a lot and work it off; life
without cuisine is simply not that much fun.

At 60, my power to weight ratio is about what it was
when I was 30, BUT my endurance is down to about
50% of what I remember it to be. (I can still kick bad
guys' butts, but I must do it quickly or they will kill me.)

I have never used alcohol, but I drink a lot of soda. I
love cigars, but they are socially unacceptable so I
    don't use 'em too much.

I seldom go to doctors and have not taken any prescription
drugs in years. I will take Cipro, if I get anthrax, though. I chew
a couple of aspirin, just about daily.

Mentally, I feel like about 21 +/-. I know a bunch of stuff, but I
find that I sometimes have to refresh my memory about certain
things more often than I did 10-years ago.

I have many more very young girlfriends than I had when I was 30.
Most are mostly interested in what I can do for them, and that's
fine; I am mostly interested in what I can do to them.

ALL things considered, being 30 is very good, but knowing what
to do and how to do it in almost every circumstance brings a
peaceful and easy feeling that was absent at 30 or even 40.

Nobody knows how long they will last. I have lasted pretty long
and hope to last until I feel sick. Being sick would not appeal to me.

100-years from now, folks with resources will last way beyond 100.
The insurance actuaries mostly agree that about 170 is the outside
limit; an accident would get you, even if your health was perfect.

    ...............

    The Gault story was good.

If he can run a 4.27 forty still, 15-20 years after his day, why did he stop playing? The guy is a freak.

  • It's amazing how Gault can stay in this kind of shape without injury. Usually the first things to go are either the hips / knees or hamstrings. The hips and knees from all of the ground force and the hamstrings either in over-reaching or deceleration. Impressive!
