$3.441, pretty consistent. Hope I'm not too late.
  • Just curious why someone that contemplate $4K cards doesn't have a VCP subscription?

Why pay for something that you can get for free by asking?

Just curious why someone who also asks for VCP help on this board would knock someone for asking for VCP help???

Like the pot calling the kettle black.
Probably would be a good investment when considering high dollar cards, though I've
seen some posted problems with VCP on some issues.

Wanted a quick answer on a card, and my special thanks to fellow collectors who answered me.
    Happy collecting.

  • Just out of curiosity what are the problems now?

I believe he's just talking about things he's read vs. trying it out. I've (had) been a member for a while now and have zero complaints. Feature enhancements ... sure... but no complaints. Much more reliable site and speedy for several months now.... though with a new job I've let my subscription lapse. I will be back as time for cards returns.

I have had it for over a year and have no complaints with the speed and reliability of the service. It has been great especially over the last few months.

    Great question, great answer. image

I guess it's no different than asking for the pop report, or any other info that would only be available to members with a subscription. The thing that gets me is that it's not a bad price for what you get. In many cases it's the same as shipping one card in a bubble mailer.

I find it annoying when people continue to ask for help with VCP, and the membership price isn't much at all... ya ya, it's just one card, usually. Until the next card. image

"Why pay for something that you can get for free by asking?"

Because it ain't free to the person who provides you the info. If the information is of value to you then pay for it. Maybe then VCP won't have to jack up the rates again because they've got 50 freeloaders for every subscriber. I'm surprised they don't monitor the message boards for posts like this and then penalize the people posting screenshots and providing lists of prices. Violation - 7 days - No prices for you.

    Seriously?

I did a quick search with VCP as the subject and hofautos as the author.

    1

    2

    3

    4

    5

And that's just the first 5 I saw.

So I guess the appropriate question should be when are YOU going to stop mooching off others and buy a subscription?
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

how much is a new VCP subscription?

BTW, can I get a little VCP help on my 1961 Nu-Card #143 Ernie Davis PSA 10?

Just kidding! image ($250 to $500)

    rd

    Note:
The PSA grader "cut some big slack" grading this one. The centering (L/R) IMO, put a PSA 9 in a PSA 10 holder.
(Makes this a weak PSA 10, or $250 card. If better centered, it could have been a $400-$500 card.)

    Note:
I was supposed to be upgrading my $75 example! image
