Does this 71 Ryan look OK?

Is that Mets team name supposed to be more centered? measures up to other cards ok though

This card looks a little too nice - need a blacklight to tell if it's been recolored?

Yes, Mets is supposed to be centered. However, the card is off center, so Mets would follow suit. You may want to invest in a jeweler's loupe. That should assist in your recolored suspicion next time.

If you don't have a black light, look closely at the border edges and usually you can see black seepage into the cardboard. It has worked for me. I found out the hard way after I graded some 71's. Atleast I learned.

To me, the top edge looks trimmed. Hope I'm not right...good luck!

That card appears to be a 1971 Topps Nolan Ryan #513.

As far as size the card looks fine to me, but for the recoloring it is difficult to tell from a scan.
