Ichiro S. Rookie Question...

All,

If I was looking to pick up a PSA 10 Ichiro RC, what would be the best one to go with. Basically, whats the best, most affordable RC for Ichiro. I want to pick one up but I don't know which way to go. Basic Upper Deck, Bowman, Topps, etc.? I'm looking for the most likely card that would make it to the Key Card sets for things like 3000 hits, if he was to get there some day. Any advice would be great.

Get there some day??????? How about owning the all time season hit record 262

best for less - bowman chrome (refractor)

How about the Boman's Best (not refractor)? Good one to have or not? Whats a good price for some of these in a 10?

I agree the SP is a sweet card and numbered to 1250 I believe

I have the Bowman Chrome refractor in Japanese in a BGS 9.5, which is rare to some degree

I kinda draw the line at cards that I can't read.

I picked up the basic Bowman in a 10 slab for $20. I figured it was worth it for that price. I liked the pic on it too. I'm looking at picking up the Bowmans Best in a 10 and I really like the Bowman Heritage and Bowman chrome. I might try and pick up all his Bowman variations. At least for now I have one of his RC's. If anybody has any of his other Bowman's in a 10 for sale, let me know I might be interested for the right $.

WOW, that ink is going fast, should be completly gone in 3 years.

His SP Authentic or Bowman Chrome are two of his best base cards. The Ultimate Collection goes for over $1000.00 at auction. As for the ink on the Ultimate Collection, it looks like it may have been in a sleeve and was "pressed" off. Either that, it was that way just after he autographed it.

The auto has obviously faded as BGS would of never given that a grade of 9. You have to ask yourself if this is really his best rookie card when this
is what most of them have to look forward to! No Thanks. I can't count the number of cards UD has put out where the ink is fading. I guess the
real question is, when the ink is all gone, what is keeping anyone from adding in another one? You have to assume that 100% of these cards
are legit, but knowing this, you have to wonder what is the future of this card?

I agree, that is why I stay away from auto cards. I want nice clean base rookies. Man I wish we were back in the late 80's. Topps, Donruss or Fleer. It was sooooo easy!
