As a Cleveland resident (suburb), I have been dissapointed in Braylon's play...mainly last year. But I do have a good Braylon story. He lives about a mile from my house. My 12 year old son...last year....was sleeping over a friend's house for a birthday party and they had a scavenger hunt where they had to go around the neighborhood and ask for certain items. Braylon lives three houses from the birthday boy so they naturally stopped at his house. Braylon answered the door himself and my son said he couldn't have been nicer. They had to get something brown and candy from a house. Braylon gave them the Brown's wristband right off his arm and then brought them into his kitchen and gave the kids a big bag of candy. He didn't have to do that...no TV cameras there or anything, but he did. Braylon also gave a very high sum of money to the Cleveland schools with little fanfare. Good luck to him, I hope he stays in the neighborhood (and also right down the street from Brady Quinn)...

I'm a huge Browns fan and am just fine seeing him leave for another team although I think they should hold off for a 1st round pick. I agree he has become a great community guy but on the field he has Keyshawn Johnson's ego and a Fullbacks hands. It's time for him to go and he'll love all the attention he gets in NYC.

Just let them draft Hakeem Nicks. He will end up being the second best WR in the draft. Although he's 6' 1" and doesn't have the size of Burress, he has great hands and is more than just a possession receiver. I still think Crabtree is the goods, but I'd love to see the G-Men with Nicks rather than local hero Kenny Britt. Britt is just a taller version of Braylon Edwards - tons of talent and butter fingers.
  • I'm a huge Browns fan too and I'm glad he's a nice guy. But I'd rather he was a nice guy AND could catch a pass or two. Somebody smarter than me can do the math, but it seems to me that Anderson's QB rating last season would have been about 30 points higher if Edwards had caught only half of the easy drops he made. And then that sissypants Quinn would still be on the bench and there would be no QB controversy.
