    The whole thing looks fabricated...artificially aged and all...but I guess it could be the grainy scan.

    Ya gotta be so careful with sigs such as this - There have been forgers out there for years that can probably sign Ruth's name better than the Babe could - LOL

    I would agree with this. I have a real ruth auto, and this one doesn't look good.

    The signature is on a piece of stationary from a lodge in New Hampshire that the Babe and my uncle Joe stayed at.
    It has the date and name of the lodge attached on the piece of paper that the Babe signed.

    Yours is verified so that's okay. but if not knowing that, ya still gotta be careful with ebay type sigs, because "old stationary" is easy to find and cheap...and a good forgers favorite "trick" is to sign names on old stationary, and old paper, etc.
