Storm888 is the man.If you recall I bought some resealed wax packs from Mike Wrenn on Net54. I sent the packs back to him for a refund and he denied the package. Storm recommended filing a claim with the San Jose BBB. Paypal sent me a "onetime settlement" for the amount of the purchase.

Thanks Storm and other board members for being a helpful Family.

    If paypal issued a courtesy refund, then the way I read it is that paypal is eating the loss and the dirtbag still keeps the money from the buyer. Definitely great work by storm, and it's also great for the buyer to get his money back (no matter where it comes from), but unfortunately the dirtbag feels no pain.

    One other question, maybe someone here can answer. Is Wrenn a member of rge San Jose
    BBB? And is that why they got involved?

    Glad you got your $ back.

    I was one of the ones that almost got taken by him on the net54 board. However, I privately asked for references from other forum users and no one had a clue who he was and his only posts were on the BST board. He is a prime example why forum users are hesitant to buy cards from new users.

    Yes Steve, I kept the boxes. Even if they have been resealed from the outside they make nice displays. Mike Wrenn live in Queens, NY and works as a realtor.

    Storm could run for mayor of CU and I'd vote for him.

    If Storm doesn't win next year's poster of the year, there should be an investigation.
