Purchased an old scrapbook and found...
...a Yankees ticket dated June 14, 1941...the middle of Joe Dimaggio's 56 game hit streak. I couldn't find a box score for the game but found the following:
Yankees beat the Indians 4-1, Feller pitched. Joe D.'s hit streak extended to 27 games.

Image came up kinda blurry...scanner is focusing on the screw-down.
Also couldn't find any values from completed auctions...any ideas?

Wow, what a nice "find' that was - and that ticket is in decent condition - worth some good money for sure.
Ticket values can be all over the place - frankly, I think sports tickets such as that are a very undervalued collectible and offer good potential for investment.
A ticket from a game during Dimaggio's streak? Nice! That's gotta be worth some decent coin. Congrats.
SteveK, what have you done with Boopotts??

<< <i>Personally, I think it's a reprint. That's the oldest trick in the book-- put a reprint vintage ticket stub in an old book, then have the 'sucker' come back and buy out the rest of your stock. If I've seen one weasel bookseller pull that stunt I've seen a thousand. >>
I agree, and it's not even debatable.
Maybe you can even retain the lawyer representing Kobe's housecleaner...

The only problem is what would I get if I won? Boo's collection of PSA 7 Topps 1987 baseball cards?
