Anyone interested in a consolidated TTM thread similar to the Mail Call thread?

It would save 30 threads of TTMs and my aging brain wont have to remember what ones I have looked at image...anyone interested? If you are, start posting!

I'm cool with consolidating TTM's to one thread. My hunch is that others will want to keep separate though.
  • I tried this about a year ago and it didn't stick, but if you get one going I'm in.
  • Sure... I'll get this started, got the Bird back a few days ago (one of the best free TTM'ers)

This was a good idea that Barry had. I'm as guilty of it as anyone. He's right, if everyone starts their own rip threads and TTM threads it's just going to clutter up the front page and move other stuff that people might want to discuss down. I'm all for using this as a consolidated TTM thread and for there being one official rip thread. Any other thoughts?

I'm with you guys on this. I love reading about all the success that everyone has, but trying to keep track of all the threads is a challenge at times.

Ok, since no one seems willing to do this, and there ARE pros and cons...perhaps we can ask PSA to add a category for autographs that is separate from the Community Message Board. That way the Community Message Board will not have upwards of 6-7 TTM threads clogging up the front page. Thoughts?

MIKE ... I think that is a GREAT idea! If you make the inquiry, could you see if there would be a way to transfer the existing threads to the new area? I am sure that others, like you and me, have built up a nice size thread that they would like to be able to continue. Again, I think it is a GREAT idea!

It sounds like a great idea, but I personally like reading and following the individual TTM threads and love seeing their updates and progress. Members like Mike Navarro, Mike/Vito and many more have lots of time already dedicated to their threads. I think one thread would be too hectic and hard to follow everyone's individual pickups.

I agree. I think A rip category and a TTM/Autograph category would be great additions to the main page. How do we go about requesting this? Anyone have an in with Carol? Please list all threads that would require moving here. This could do significant work in cleaning up the Community Board page. I know Mine, Doug's, Nick's, Mike Navarro's, Barry's etc would need to be transferred on the Auto side and Fergie, zep etc. on the break side but what else?

Mike that is a great idea. A category for autographs and memorabilia. I dont know how open PSA is to that but it would be really nice.

    carol, are you reading???

Then maybe we can also share some addresses and successes and be much easier to find.

Exactly. I just PM'd Carol about this and the Box Breaks category.
  • I do see a autograph forum in the list, nobody posts there though?

I think access and exposure would mean a lot on the original message board page. Maybe it would be as simple as PSA creating the link?
