Post your latest pickup!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good day, Bored at work and it's snowing as usual!!!!

I's funny how auctions go, one week I bid on a 100, and win maybe 2, the next I bid on 30 and win 28.
This last few days have been nice, I made some nice pickups:

290306737818 The Namath is a lock on a 5 and possibly a 6.

330318968589 This card should be a 6, even with the diamond cut and if so is a $30 card.

230335036848 The Starr and the Gregg will pay for the lot and the rest will be profit even at $5-7 each out the door.

320355400196 The exhibit card will go in the store at $10, which will pay for the lot and I have no clue on the two calendar cards, but I bet $10 each in the store and they are gone.

200325996334 I just sold some out of my store at $6 each...nuff said.

300304225395 The best pickup of the week, the last wax pack on the Bay sold for over $150 and I should be able to get $50-75 for the Cello.

270366394853 Stick this in my store at $35 it will be gone in a week.

Those are just a few of what's been a great week.

Thanks
Neil

  • No scans yet, but got these from the BST board. Would again like to thank cardfan07 for a great deal. Basically my entire card budget for the month. Obviously my card budget has drastically diminished recently.

I've won a few other auctions since, but this is the latest to come through the door. Hopefully, it'll be on its way to PSA before long.

Very nice pickup Bryon. Has some rounding, but it still looks like a PSA 5 to me.

I got this '56 Topps Campy for my Campy set. I love the centering and I'm thrilled to have gotten it as cheap as I did!

  • Chris,

Am I missing something on that 56 Campanella? Why is that only a 6?

Picked up 2 1957 Topps Space cards in PSA 7 for my set.

One was an upgrade, the other I needed.

I'm at 77% now on that set. The other 2 sets Target Moon and Salmon back I'm at 100%

Sets have pics if you want to take a look.

    Steve
    Good for you.

I assumed that was a hair on the scanner. I always add a pube to all my scans. All the kids are doing it.

It's 5x7 and they came with Mr. Z's Pizza's (as the label would tell you). They were just shoved under the cellophane wrap, so they're tough. I'm pleased with it for my collection! image

That's pretty sweet! I love super oddball regional stuff. That presents really well for a 7.5!

Hey Barf....That's About what I get to chainsaw up every Fall for the Winter heat!!!!!! Mine just gets delivered in a 40 yard dumpster, I pre cut it into 10-20 foot lenghts at Work with the Track Hoe Pinzer Bucket, and then bring it home, Dump it, and over the course of about 2-3 weekends, Cut and Stack, and make Heating Stove ready!!!

I'll probably start on the pile of wood come Monday.

Need to get a new spark plug and chain for this.

The splitting I do with this.

And for the ones I can't muscle on my own I drag this out.

Will get a good work out and shed some of the pounds I gained over the winter.
