I bought another 52 Topps Mays

It took me a while, but I found one I like better than my previous one.
Which do you like better?

I like the color on the left better and the borders/edges/corners on the right better.

Edited to add...is the color muted on the right card because the stain goes in across the bottom pretty far?

Haha, yeah, they're both nice cards...the stain is the only thing keeping the one on the right down really. In this case, I'd probably go for the one with the best color.

That idea has already been taken.

The one on the right. You could have that stain removed (I have no problems with it) & get it re-slabbed, if possible. Then see what you got.
    Enjoy your collection!

I may be getting into an ethical matter here, but I've always heard that removing water stains can be quite difficult. I've personally never even attempted this but two questions:

    1. What is the procedure for removing water stains (just a water soaking procedure - or other chemicals required)

    2. Is it ethical to alter a cards in this manner?

As I've stated before, I've never even tried to soak a card before, but personally don't have a real big issue if others do this. I think if you are removing something from the card that was not originally there, you aren't really altering the card. I know this can be a slippery slope, just my opinion
