I was in the exact for like i showed here.
It didn't have a paypal logo or anything like that in the email.
The email was not in my ebay inbox and my paypal account is fine.
So was this some sort of scam?
Thanks

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I got an email from 'bank of america' telling me if I completed a simple survey they'd put $50 in my account, all I had to do was provide my account and pin numbers...yeah, no I don't think so! I'd make sure that email gets sent to paypal's abuse/scan address. From paypal's website:
Forward fakes to spoof@paypal.com
Together we can help stop fraud.
If you think you’ve received a phishing email:
1. Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com
2. Delete the email
thanks guys
Paypal ALWAYS includes your name in e-mail and EVERY piece of info states they will never ask you for information.
I don't use the email to get to the site.
Anything they (Ebay or Paypal) want to tell me will be there.

Another thing - don't even open these e-mails, because e-mail programs can tell if a receiver opened the e-mail, and when they know you at least open up these e-mails, then you'll receive more of them, and other scam and spam e-mail as well.
Just always, and I do mean always delete them.
per Paypal.
