Bolivian coinage 1809-25

Bolivia's war of independence ran from 1809-25. As far as I can tell, all coins issued in that period were of the usual Spanish Colonial designs. Does anybody here know if any of these coins were struck by the rebels? If so, details please!

Hi Andy, none that I'm aware of. However, the Rio de la Plata issues were struck at Potosi during 1813 and 1815. I know that's not Bolivia, but they WERE struck there! I'm sure that you can ask Mike Dunigan (if I don't first).

Asked MD today. He drew a blank and suggested I try Louis. So great minds do think alike!
