Grossly fake. The seller was discussed in the "Fake Isabella on eBay" thread. Everything he's selling is fake.

  • Nice note from the seller included in his nifty description......

"Sorry folks. But, some past dirtball-idiot-deadbeat-bidder/buyers have made it necessary to include the following verbiage: PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION'S CLOSING DATE unless otherwise coordinated with us."

    Nice guy !
  • Hey wait a minute, why are 2 of the pictures shown with the coin with a blue background, and the coin in the holder has a white background ??? Gotta ask yourself....... do I really think that's even the same coin ?? NO !

What's wrong with the 'S' ? - it looks like the same one used on the 12S nickel he is offering, so it must be Ok image

Different white balance in the pictures is all. Maybe taken at slightly different angles and causing the camera to adjust accordingly.

I'm no expert at discerning real from fake mintmarks but that one does not look right.

Good education piece. This isn't FAKE...it's ALTERED, and there's a big difference. If it were fake it would be worth nothing at all. Because it's altered, it's still worth the buck or so that the genuine coin it is would be worth - a 1909 indian. "Fake" (syn. counterfeit) notes that no part of the piece is real.
