What would happen to the value of the dollar if major world leaders, not including the U.S., hinted at, or decided to drop the U.S. dollar?

    This has been happening for the last couple weeks (hinted at, at least), and the dollar has dropped.

    I guess the first problem that all countries would face is then - how would they resolve trade and pricing issues with the U.S.?

    Negotiated settlements on every deal?
