Canseco cards

Am asking help on this forum on a question regarding Canseco baseball cards. Since I collect only baseball autographs, I'm out of my league with cards. I assume Canseco's rep means his stuff is pretty uncollectible, especially in the era of the late 80's / early 90's with the glut of cards. In a thrift store today I found a notebook obviously cherished by a once-Jose fan. I thought it was just a bunch of fan clippings but when I opened it up, it had pages of the plastic sheets that hold 9 cards each. About 120 cards, very few duplicates, nearly all from 1988 thru 1991. Cards were well cared-for, sharp corners, etc. 3 or 4 Ozzie Conseco's, and a few of Jose with other teammates like McGwire. Are there any cards from that era that have any collectible value? I paid $19.95 for the notebook. Thanks for the help, guys.

Cards from that era are just a few cents each, if you can even find a buyer.

Is it just a binder with cards, or is it like a scrap book with paper clippings and stuff like that? If it's a scrap book, that was made by some Jose Canseco / A's fan during that era, it might be a cool item to a Jose Canseco collector/ A's fan.

If you can find any Donruss cards with a "blue chips" logo in the corner, you may have something.

I was stationed near Oakland in Canseco's prime years. When the A's were at their best, nobody would sign autographs for fans. Nobody but Canseco. He might look like an idiot these days, but I can remember in 1990 him signing for a line of at least 300 people after a game, well after everyone else had gone home. He's still tops in my book and I'm still a fan.
