I'd appreciate some help from anyone who has a 18th Century Krause or who is knowledgable about Indian coins. I just picked up the coin below where it was labelled as a 'Indian Pagoda' which it obviously is as the mass and size are correct for that type of coin. One side appears to depict a lion and the other an elephant. The coin weighs 3.5g and is about 11-12mm in diameter. Other than that I dont know anything about it. Apologies for poor quality of image, I dont have access to my normal camera setup so this was done handheld in poor light with a camera I am not familiar with.

Any help appreciated.

It's enough underweight @ 3.5g that I'd be suspicious. The coinarchives specimens are 3.7g++

    Hi DCH,

Thanks for the reply. I re-weighed it on different scales, 3.8g. That's what it should be. The other weight was done on kitchen scales, wont use those again.
