YN Giveaway Winner announced

ajaanajaan Posts: 17,620 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have a British 1929 1/2d in an ANACS MS60 details, cleaned holder I wish to give away because I upgraded with a problem free PCGS coin.

Contest open to all YNs, a collector under the age of 18. All you need to do is reply to this thread and give a short explanation of why this coin fits into your exsisting or future collection. Basically, why you want this coin. An ON can enter for a YN but a reason for wanting this coin must still be stated.

I'll pick a winner in a couple days.

Here is a very quickly done, hand held, image of the coin in the slab.

P.S. the coin comes with a Spinaker2000 pedigree.

Random number generator spit out #1 so ASUtodd wins. Please PM me your addy.

Lathmach and mojo, also PM me your addy and I'll send some other coins along to you.

My daddy started me a coin collection so that I can learn about the history of the world as I get older. He also started my little brother/sister (who will be here in Sept) a coin collection also but I want this one for myself! I don't have a Great Britain coin yet so this would help fill a hole in my fledgling collection. I currently have several US coins, a Chinese coin (Thanks Stork), 2 UNC 1 Pesos from the Dominican Republic(thanks Mad Marty!), a silver ancient coin (Thanks LordM!), and some other nice coins that i received from Forum members. My daddy puts each coin in a 2x2 and labels who it came from and the date I received it. He then places them in a nice flip folder on that resides on my book case! I would love win this coin to add to my collection. What daddy doesn't know is that since I have just started walking I will soon be sneaking into his "coin Closet" and taking all of his!!!

Just for info on my YN, Coen turned a year old on Feb 24th of this year. He has just started walking without the aid of the wall, toys, ME, or anything else. He speaks the basic words of daddy, mommy, ba ba (bottle), woof (dog), and he can say con (which is coin).... My wife hates that I spend so much time getting him to say coin! Regardless of whether he wins or looses I appreciate you doing something for the youngin's!

You can enter my 5 year old boy in your YN giveaway.
I got this boy when he was just 3, 22 months ago, from the county. (he is not related to me)
His parents are in prison. They have given up their parental rights to him.
I'm trying to adopt him and give him a chance in life.
I take him to local coin shows and to the Muskegon, Michigan coin club meetings.
It gives us something to do together, and although his coin collection is just odds and ends now, maybe someday he will develop a passion for coins like I have had for the last 52 years.
He has gottten a new 2009 Lincoln log cabin cent recently from Mach19, and some Asian coins from unknowncomic a month or so ago.
He loves getting mail that is really his.
    I love this little boy.

Every time I see this thread title I think someone is fed up and giving away their YN image. Please don't enter my kiddos in this, they just aren't quite hooked enough yet. Right now I think they think coin collecting is a 'girl thing' image I bring them presents from shops/shows and my youngest doesn't look interested and my oldest just wants to know how much it's worth. Michael P. Keaton in training I fear.
