I am planning on winning that one I hope, I'm currently the underbidder. I bid $1208.85 and got outbid. Trying to decide what my final bid will be. That's the nicest specimen of a signed Maris rookie that I've seen. One went in a Mastro auction last year for $1200.00.
Yeah, that Clemente is nice as well. Scott is selling a nice signed 58 set on ebay. Has some great ones. The only one I hope to get is the Maris.

I hope it's not. Scott is a good seller though so he'd probably make it right if it was. I'll have to admit I was cussing the high bidder until I found out it was you LOL. I am glad that there was a 3rd bidder that bid $1500.00 because if not, then you and I would have been the only bidders above $711.00, and while I was glad that I ran it up on the high bidder BEFORE I found out it was you, I would have felt bad for costing you an additional $800.00 if no one else had bid.
If the Jordan, I would say a 5-6 as long its wrinkle free. All the corners look like they have a slight touch and I can't see if they are still nicely square or not, and the back is OC, and PSA is pretty tough on Jordan's in my opinion.

Glad yo got the Maris Gonblott, I am/was watching most of Scott's 58 set, Doubt if I will seriously bid on anything as I am flippin broke. I am really diggin some of those dual signed 58's too. Can't believe the reserve wasnt met on Clemente.
Seems like Maris prices have really shot up the last couple of years, I got a nice 68 Maris just last year for under $300 bucks. And I remember the 58, maybe even that card going for $700 to $800 less than a year ago.
I cannot believe they broke that set up. Seems so wrong. Happy 51st Anniversary you all get a vacation to different places never to be reunited again. But it is the best way to cash in. I wonder where he got that set and the story behind it.
Scott has been breaking up a lot of his sets over the past year. I got a lot of my hard to find 86 Donruss from him. I wouldnt doubt him having another 58 Topps set besides this one. I know I sold him the quad signed Fence busters card a few months back and its not the same one in these auctions.
Congrats Gonblott on another one. I bid $455.00 on that same Mantle. Liked the vintage sig so much better than the modern sig. I was just buying that one for resale so don't really care that I lost it.
Quit playing around and go buy a Jordan signed rookie

That Jordan has incredible eye appeal to me. Love the silver sig.
