After taking 6 months and 50 e-mails / phone calls to get my last $720.00 all 5 of my $200.00 cashback rewards that were due today say.

"We've encounterd a problem depositing your cashback reward into the PayPal account that you used for your eBay purchase. But we will keep trying."

Care to share the phone number you used to contact the Cashback "support" staff ? I sent a message to them yesterday, instructing them to acknowledge my request for paper checks to be mailed. They're ignoring me so far. Not even the canned response about "technical issues".

i had one fail today also. it tried 3 times.. and now the fourth time
says "in process".

so basically you can do everything correctly and their system messes
up.

this is exactly the type of worry and grief that made me avoid it when
it first started out.

sigh.

you are not the only one collector.

I guess I'm a lucky one. I had five transactions and all five went to my paypal acct within 48 hours after the end of the 60 days.

In my account summary at Cashback Live. One payment initiated on 1/15 failed and then was attempted four more times and failed in a five day span.
A second payment attempted once on 1/28 and failed.

I guess mine were only attempted once because each of my 3 different failed rebates are only listed once in my summary.

The most common problem seems to be that your cash back account may have multiple methods of payment indicated. This confuses the system and rejects the payment.

This happened to me, I received my first cash back with no problem via my paypal account. My second cashback of $ 200 was rejected. A forum member clued me in to looking at my account's prefferred payment option. Somehow, the box to "pay by paypal" AND the box to "pay by check" were both indicated. I simply unchecked the box that said "pay by check" and the money went through the a couple of days later. Since then, all my MS cashbacks have come in with no further problems.

Same here but after sending them many emails they said:
"We have attempted numerous times to send the payment"

Steve, that was a different problem. They changed peoples payment methods but even with it set to the right method it still fails.

I've said before I've only one method listed and thats my paypal account. Thats all there has been from the beginning.

Just tonight Collin O. sent me a very nice form letter telling me they are working on my "specific issue" Here is a copy of what I sent Collin O.

Actually there is nothing specific about my issue. I am aware there are many of your customers having the exact same issue, and you send all of us the exact same form letters. None of us have received our advertised rebates that we are due. I've given you my paypal account XXXXXX@luckymail.com this is the same paypal account associated with my live.com account XXXXXX@sprintpcs.com and the same paypal account that was used to pay for the items that the rebates are due. I know for a fact any funds deposited into this paypal account will not have a problem (and you claim to have attempted to deposit into this account ????). Why are you having such a problem with a simple process?

Now when checking my live search account is says my 5 $200.00 payments that failed on the 30th were payed out to my paypal account on the 27th and 28th. I received no e-mail that payment was sent so I go to my paypal account and nothing there.

Today I received one of my $200.00 cashbacks in my paypal account. Looking at the live search web sight it still says all five of mine have failed 3 times. Very strange.... I think they have some major issues.....

I started out thinking it was worthwhile but after waiting months and getting "failed" I changed my mind. I wouldn't do it again.

Here's my thread about the same thing. MSN is either very stupid or just doesn't care that they're ruining their name...I was actually thinking that I may start using Live search sometimes, but now I only open the page to check my account.

Just got one in PP (It failed 5X before getting). Last few failed, in last week or so. No more "pending"...3-4 in failed left. Small amounts,except for one 2 weeks ago........Will stop writing them, for a day or two
