My 1964 Topps Stand-Up Set Build

I always enjoy the threads where people share their set builds so I thought I'd start one of my own. Thanks again to everyone who helped me decide which 1960's sub-set to collect. It was good to get feedback from others who collect the sets.

I decided to try to build a mid-grade 1964 Topps Stand-Ups set. To be honest I don't think I ever paid much attention to them. But now that I have a few in hand I understand the draw to this set. They're pretty neat cards. So without further yapping, here are the scans of my first purchases.

Thanks to bobbyw8469 for some nice cards at a very good price! I'll post more as I get them.

Very nice indeed, in 2003 Bazooka did a retro set that looks just like these.

Chris, I love 64 Topps Stand-ups. Its actually a set I have considered building as well, I just cant seem to prioritize it into my things to do. Thanks for sharing and please update everyone when you acquire the stars.

It's amazing how so many of these cards made it out of the 60s w/o being unperforated.

sigh. i had 2 complete sets! and multiple mantles! sold them all for a tidy profit, but how i miss em!

By far, '64 Stand-Ups are some of the coolest non-traditional cards out there. Great choice and great start.

I'm amazed too at how nice most of these are... since they were MEANT to be pulled apart and played with.
