Polo Grounds Raw Grading?

I see their adds all the time in SCD, beauty, and I'm always curious, beauty, as to how their grading standards, beauty, hold up against PSA, beauty.
Sometimes they have graded cards, and one thing I've noticed is that, for example, a PSA 8 from them might sell for $50, but the same card listed as "MT" will actually be listed for LESS.
My unscientific analysis has drawn a conclusion that what Polo Grounds considers mint would be roughly around a PSA 5/6 (EX-EXMT).
Does anyone have any actual experience sending in a raw card from them to PSA?

From years in the past it was a crapshoot at best. Mt would be 7-8 standards. My dealings were in minis first small batch was ok soso then they listed a bunch I bought over 400 and out of that Id say 5 had shots at 9's and the rest was equally in the 7-8's. However they took them all back and cut me a check with what I wasnt happy with. Not sure if theyd take them all back nowadays. Think the only reason they did is because I told them Id see them at the suntimes show.
