MS Live transactions "FAILED" - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE...SEE MY LAST MESSAGE

Anyone else experience this? I am looking at my transactions waiting for some cash to be sent to paypal, and I have 3 transactions between 1/16 and 1/19 that all show FAILED. They are all re-listed with "IN PROCESS", but why would have they failed originally? I have gotten cash back in the past with no problems, and have not made any changes to email, etc...

I have that showing up in my account as well, but though it still says "Failed", the money went through just fine.

I have a transaction with the same problem. It has "failed" 3 times now.

I sent an email to them and they advised me that they are having a problem and are working on fixing it...we will get our money, just have to be patient...

I have two transactions between 1/16 and 1/19 that have also failed but in progress. One of them is for $200.00 so I'm anxious for that transaction to be completed.

No discount being offered now.

I had one from last week that showed up "Failed" four times.

I wrote them and they said they were aware of the problem and that if I didn't receive my cashback bonus within 72 hours, to reply to their email.

About 60 hours after they sent their email, I received an email saying my cashback bonus had gone through. Indeed it had.

I still have my last 2 transactions dated 1/16 and 1/19 that originally failed and are still "in process." I think all we can do is play the waiting game till its goes through.

6 days later...my 6 are still FAILED....it is quite annoying - their customer service, or lack of, is terrible!! You can't call. All you can do is email and get the same automated response a few days later telling you that the yare aware of the probelm!!!

I had one for $50+ that just closed fine. When I bought the item it said it would automatically transfer in 60 days, no need to request it, and it was transfered on Monday, 60 days after the puchase.

There is no MS Live discount at eBay right now. There are many other sites that have cashback rewards, though. For example, I ordered a scanner from jr.com and got 7% back.

a few more days have passed and still no answers. Now MS Live is trying to pin it on Paypal saying it is their problem. The problem that I am trying to explain to their awful automated live customer service emails is that it never gets to the chance of sending it to paypal .It is failing trying to get into the cashback account!

Are you guys still showing FAILED ??

I had 5 or 6 transactions using LIVE.COM with a total due me of ~$150.00. This past week 3 or 4 of them were transferred to my PayPal account, all 60 days after my purchase (as they originally stated). So I have gotten ~$110.00 back and another $40.00 or so should be in within 2 weeks.

So far ... so good. Hope you guys who are getting the "failed" messages get your $$$.

Got my 3rd different answer today and it is the same as mentioned above. They are now claiming it is Paypal's fault and that Paypal is not allowing me to accept the transfer. Really? My first transaction went through just fine. Why are the last 4 failing?

My previous 4 transactions worked fine. then for my final transaction, i had to wait 60 days. well, that was last week. now the current status is "failed". it appears that cashback attempted to process the cashback in four steps: failed, in process, failed, failed. i have emailed them, hopefully to the correct email address, but no response yet.

Guys - you have to contact PAYPAL asap and open a claim with them......they are very familiar with the FAILED notes and will take some info about the transactions, such as dates and amounts, which can be found on your MS LIVE page details...

YOU DO HAVE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM AS THEY ARE KEEPING A MASTER LIUST OF ALL ACCOUNTS BEING AFFECTED TO FIX. I called again to follow up on Friday and was told again that it will be fixed on 2/9 and if for any reason the $$ is not deposited on 2/9 that I should call again, and at that point the ymay just do an automatic paypal deposit for the amount...we'll see...

They gave me the 2/9 date as well via email. I wonder how many lawyers are chomping at the bit to go after them for this whole mess.

I got my last $165.00 or so from them a couple days ago. All went smooth except for the very last one, it kept failing but finally went through. I didn't bother contacting them or anything, just waited and sure enough it came. I was grateful enough to them that they had already sent me over $1000 before, I figured if my last one failed, no big deal, they went above and beyond with this promotion, in my situation I felt I was being greedy if I hounded them over my last transaction.

I had about 8 cashbacks. I did have an issue with one cards cashback. Ebay was showing that I earned $60 cashback for the purchase ...but it wasn't showing at live.com So I contacted both and both blamed the other. Eventually I contacted cutomer support for ebay again about it, and the rep gave me a $50 ebay gift code to make up fo rmy troubles..It was 10 bucks less..but I was Ok with it.

FINALLY, today I received my 6 cashbacks that were showing as FAILED. Paypal definitely helped expedite this situation. Left alone to MS Live I would have gotten nowhere. I highly suggest anyone still having this issue to get in touch w/ Paypal immediately...

I will be very wary to use MS Live Cashback in the future - this was a hassle!
