Resubmitting (10) PSA 6 Crackouts -- wish me luck

All but the Witt were graded before half grades - so any bumps (even half grades) would be an improvement. Thought it was worth a shot with the current special - despite the seemingly tougher grading environment these days. Wish me luck.

edit: That's not a crease on the Aaron - it was probably a card stored in a scrapbook by inserting the corners into slits.

The Brock is pretty sweet. I had a PSA 8 a couple years back that wasn't near as nice as that one! I don't see why you shouldn't get a bump on most of those cards. Best of luck and be sure to post results when the come back!
Also, if you are interested in selling the Brock, let me know! image

It's gonna be hard getting anything higher than a PSA 6 on cards with the album tab indentations. Sometimes they overlook them, but typically they'll PSA 6 even the nicest looking cards if they catch the impression(s). Good luck.

    Bosox1976,
You said it perfectly "Wish me luck". 1962's and issues like 1971's it's all about luck. If your cards are decent, the grades could be all over the place. In my experience with this issue in the past, the cards have to be NM/MT+ to get an 8 and NM+ to get a 7 and obviously the graders' opinions vary greatly on the whole "snow in the background" thing. I believe playing a numbers and percentage game, you will get a couple half grades and maybe a 7 or 2. I think the Witt stays the same. It's a tough time to grade this issue. I have a nice pile of NM/MT 1971's just sitting in a box with stickers on the card savers, but my recent subs have been hammered. Not sure I will send in. I've been giving SGC more business lately. Bosox1976, good luck you seem like a very sincere collector of this issue.

    Mike,

Those cards look quite nice ... for $6 bucks each I would send in ... I think you have a good shot of getting bumps on most. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks guys - I think the top Mantle IA is the best of the lot, but none would be crazy in a 7 holder.

    okay mike,

bought a few '86 fleer basketball upgrades, all psa 9 and all less than $10, so i have actually (very temporarily) endeavored here.

if I was just starting collecting, I would begin consuming all '86 fleer basketball that is well centered .....
